Technical Y block everything. Aussies especially

    Looking for people to help me out with a couple of queries I've got with the 292 y block in my f250. I'm planning on building it as a custom, bagged, shop truck, some old school signage kinda deal, so at this point big power isn't really on the cards.

    Anyway.
    I'm throwing around Transmission ideas to back up the 292. i'm thinking either t5 or a c4. if i go with the auto ill put the shifter back on the column, if i go manual ill leave it on the floor and put a tall shifter on top. so as far as T5 goes on mummerts site their adapters for the trucks only accept pre 94 mustang t5. is there an equivalent to this trans in the falcons, or would they be slightly different. example would be probably early xh or xg ute or ef falcon.

    Also the bypass on the thermostat housing, was fairly rotted when i bought the truck, wondering if i could press a new section in to replace the failed one. if not does anyone have a housing they are willing to sell? i think i recall seeing new one on NPD but they don't have accept paypal which i thought was odd.
