Has anyone ran a triple deuce setup on a 272 Y-Block?
What did you use for carbs and what type of adjustment did you have to make to make it work?

A single carb is so boring, what could be an idea to run for carburation? I was thinking a triple deuce setup or a dual Deuce setup (adapter plate on a quad intake)

    Thanks Fellas!!

You are going to find alot more 3x2 setups than 2x2s, I don't think I've ever seen one. I run an Edelbrock 500 on mine and I have fun with it. My Holley 600 made it run like*****.

If you get a 3x2, the Edelbrock intake, I think it is # 557 is the one to get, I know that 553 does not flow as well.

my only concern is over carburating the 272 motor. If I was running a 292, I wouldn't flinch on putting on a 3 deuce setup.

I guess i could blank off one of the carbs of the 3 or even down jet them all.

    thanks.

94's are 155 CFM so I have been told. Three of these (8BA's) would give a total of 465, not too much for a 272. Run them on a progressive set up and you will be using only one most [IMG] of the time. Jets could probably take care of any bog when you mash it.
