I'm wanting to get rid of the 2 barrel and intake. I'd like anything else but the factory 4-barrel unit. What else is out there and where to find it (without spending a fortune of course)?2-2's2-4's1-43-2's, whateverThanks

Lots of 3 x2 set ups around, mostly on ebay and mostly expensive but you can get a bargain if you try.

You should be able find a 3x2 at a swap meet, e-bay, or HAMB classified. But you'll be spending more on the buying and rebuilding the carbs than you will on the manifold. I'd estimate you'd have $1000 in a 3x2 setup vs about $400 in a 4bbl. Of course these prices vary greatly on what carbs you decide upon.

In a nutshell, don't expect to get a multi-carb setup going for cheap.

find a 573 Edelbrock if you can. they are supposed to flow the best. or get sawzall's for the simple 'wow' factor. :) of course you need 2 corvette/corvair carbs for it.
