Hey folks. I'm fairly competent on things mechanical, and am working on dropping a 1958 truck 292 into my 53 Vicky. It has the rear sump, it'll be backed by an AOD auto, and should make a good runner. I know there's gonna be some fabrication involved and all, but I'm just looking to see if anyone actually did this before, and what other abdication did you need to do other than engine mounts. At a quick glance,it seems I might have a slight clearance issue with the drag link, but not sure.. Also possibly a small ssue with the distributor on the firewall... Any little nuggets of info y'all can contribute would be seriously helpful to help speed this along... Thanks, Ernie
