Y-Block number help!!

So I bought a Y-Block motor last week and the number on the block was B5AE 6015A.

Now i believe this to be a 1959 272 if I’m not mistaken?


Here is where the dilemma sets in. I purchased ANOTHER Y-Block tonight and it was dark in a shed full of junk so I couldn’t get the block number. I was told it was a 1955 292 but at the end of the day who knows. I was able to get these pics on the main caps which is pretty hard to read.

Is anyone able to identify this motor by the number I have posted on the end caps?

Just want to confirm if I’m selling the motor I bought last week and keeping this one or if I should not take the one I just got.
