I made my mounts like OLDSPWR , he has a build going on his 26 t sedan with good pics.

I was just over there the other day. He's gotten rid of allot of his Y block stuff. Got some heads from him a few months ago though.

Any idea which exhaust manifolds these are? It's been awhile but don't remember any looking like these.

Do you have any other pictures of the engine in the frame? Is the front crossmember in the stock location? Will a mechanical fan clear the radiator? I'm curious because my next 32 build will have a Yblock.

 

T&A You have to move the crossmember up 2" so you don't have to butcher your firewall. You just have to trim just a tad off the bottom in one spot. That's all. This way you can use all the factory fans etc.

 

Agreed. Moved mine forward 3 1/2" and am very comfortable room wise. Some good shots on my thread.
