My wife's been bugging me to put my old Pontiac sedan body in the front yard to plant flowers in/around. So on this fine sunday afternoon I made her happy. I don't know about the neighbors though. They are pretty cool about my activities. Nothing really surprises them. Before I get any nasty responses about trashing this body, I recovered it upside down from a river bank, and dug the fenders/running boards out of the bank as well, about 35 years ago and have maintained it in this condition since then because it belonged to my great grandmother, and because I thought it was cool! My brothers and I used to play in it and use it as a club house when we were kids. It's also the only GM car on the property! :D

She's reeeeal rough. The time on the river bank wasn't good to her. I do appreciate your concern though. -Mike

  7. I have stuff uglier than that set aside to build - I agree with the above guy, I'd build something with it.

Oh well, it beats it being s****ped or still on the river bank -

  10. you better bolt that thing to the ground
or chain it to the trees or something
that thing is nicer than most of the stuff at iola with big price tags on it

Honor your great granny and get it back on the road. I'd love to have something like that to build.

Yeah uh... doors might be hard to find! Just try to find a picture of one of these on the internet!, let alone find basic parts for it. I like it just the way it is.

I like the idea. I've got 2 Crosley wagons I want to put in the front yard facing each other. The ol'lady won't let me. She said the nieghbors would complain, since we haven't even lived here 8 months.
