Yesterday in Big Bear Ca I came across a grill shell with adjustable shutters like a Pines Winterfront being used as yard art. It is in pretty good shape but I have no idea what it might have come off of. I searched images on the web a little bit and didn't come up with an answer. I was thinking somebody here might recognize it. Thanks for any help.
It is not Dodge Brothers. It is for a 1929 Es***. That is not a winterfront. Those are thermostatically controlled louvers.
That's it! Sure didn't take long. Here is a photo that shows it a little better. When I was a kid my father told me Es*** cars were named after the town of Es*** near California -Arizona border on route 66 as that was as far as you could get in an Es***. As a kid I didn't really know if he was kidding or not. Thanks for the help. Don
