I used to live a block or so away from those on Humboldt.

It was a gay(for real) artist couple who lived there. The lights light up at night.

Everyone in the nieghborhood thought it was cute........
I just thought it was gays being gay.

I hope you tried to buy it and save it from a life of being a plant holder!

And someone needs those exact parts he's buried in the ground. Putz.

Reminds me of the people with some old sedan (never stopped to see what it is) that's decorating their front lawn. Was cut in 2 to go around a tree. Not for sale, according to people who have inquired.

I think it needs to just disappear one day.

I know a guy who has a deuce pickup as yard art in his backyard. He's got three deuce pickups, one he's building, one's for parts and the worst of the three has been in his yard for like 20 years in a flower bed. He's got a deuce tudor and a deuce cabriolet too that are both hot rods, so I guess the worst truck is just to give some character to his yard.

this just gave me an idea... the city is screwing with me, perhaps if i claimed my hooptys were sculptural, and an artistic statement, they would let it go...

Usually when you see a car being used as Yard Art it's surrounded by lawn chairs and other yard art cars [IMG]

Here's one of the rarer versions in Beverdell B.C.

If you live in California you'll have to make sure it conforms to the neighborhood covenants. It probably would have to go in front of a commitee so that it complies to what they consider as art...!!? [IMG] [IMG]

In All other States just throw some plastic flowers on it and put a Nome next to it and it immediately becomes..., ART!!!! [IMG] Just Make sure it's off the driveway and have stones painted white surrounding it! [IMG]

Hell in Nebraska (?) they have an automotive "Stone Hedge" and in Ill. There's a stack of cars on a SPIT!! In Oregon there is a B-17 that serves as a canopy over a gas station...!

But just never park a project car in your driveway....! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

  19. Thanks for the Bomber Site..., (pun intended)!

Fighter plane lawn art can be seen at the "Proud Bird" restaraunt in L.A. CA...! You walk through a maze of "Warbirds" on static display in the parking lot..., than walk under the wings of a "Corsair" to enter the restaraunt...! [IMG] [IMG]

The owner changes the display of planes every couple of months...., Shit those are expensive "Lawn Nomes"...! [IMG]
