I used Frank at Auto Glass of America across from Ingles on the west end of Morristown. He cut all of the glass except the windshield for my 29 Tudor. It all fits and rolls up fine

  2. Thanks for the info! I'll give him a call. Is yours laminated or tempered?
BTW, that's one sweet sedan, "neighbor"!.

Laminated. I did have the old glass as a template. I remember seeing your car at the shades nice looking ride for sure. Mike and Jim buit the chassis for my car. They are great guys

  4. Thanks again for the tip. Frank cut me two new door glasses, and I got them all installed and going up and down. Yaaay!
Took the pile-o-parts to car club meeting in Kingsport last night. Got there early so I could power park.:D Little flattie is still humming right along. What an amazing difference in the car with all the glass in! Lots quieter and warmer.
Don't look too hard at that hood fit. Another opportunity awaits.

Looking good, did you get the wood pictures I sent last month?

  6. I did, thanks! One of the header and one of the side wood. I may try mine since the original is good enough for patterns. Not any time soon, though. How's the knee doing?

  7. Great thread, thanks

Great build, well done, it has turned out cool

  10. Thanks!
    Not much to report.
Decided that I was tired of looking at the rusty interior sheet metal, but the "Pile-O-Parts" is a loooong way from an interior. Went in shock from pricing ABS, so decided to try black upholstery board, but couldn't find it in stock. Ran up on this black foam core board at Hobby Lobby on sale for $6/Sht so decided to use it for patterns for later. Looked good enough for now so put it in place for temporary interior panels.
Finally have all the windows installed and working, including the PITA left rear, so maybe it will stay dry. Probably not too durable, but at least I'll have good patterns for later.
    "Poor boy" interior!
Eat your heart out, Danny @ HRP.

Glad he was able to take care of the glass. Will you be going to Newport city park this Saturday? It's a cruise in for charity. Really cool place for a show.

You can get Komatex at Tap plastics for @ $44 a 4X8ft sheet. It is waterproof and works great for door panels. I used 1/8".

  13. Didn't know about it. That is a nice park. Been several times for the Moonshine run in June. What are the times?

  14. Thanks for the tip. I'll search for it over here in TN. That's more like it @$44/sht.

    Neat car !
    Any updates worth sharing ?

  24. Thanks for the revival and the kind words.
Nothing going on with it, between quarantine, selling two cars and starting on the 41 pickup.
Did get Coker to adjust a front Excelsior. Felt that was a victory in itself!

Time flies when having fun, knees ok, what happening with your tudor these days?

  26. Sadly, not anything. She just sits, patiently waiting for some attention.
Any time in the shop seems to go to her younger sister, the 41 pickup.
