I sometimes look at this mag called "Ready Made" where they show you all this hippy **** you can make out of recycled junk. Like they built lawn furniture out of pallets in the last one. Anyway, I'm pretty sure they featured her skate deck purses in the one that's on the newstand now - just a little blurb. Maybe she should make something more masculine like a tool bag. Nice art by the way.

The Apartment of Evel Knievel

 

I posted these last week but since most of you lucky folks were in Detriot I figured I d give you a look! I did all this stuff on Copper Dust,a Barris 51 Olds for Pat Orsillo.Pat actually wanted me to stripe the car in a less refined manor for period reflection.It was like trying to fall off a bike. I kept weaving in and out of my own style.

Haven't posted one of these for a little while. Here's a carving I did to celebrate Day of the Dead, hence the skull mug. I didn't want to sell this one so it now sits in the corner of our patio.

Am doing a series of 3 double panel pieces called the Tribute/inspiration trio. All will feature a copy of the Von Dutch cl***ic and one of my originals. Here is the first Geoff aka Whodaky

 

Built a Desk Top Art Work for Rocky this week. I think it came out pretty good. Rocky really liked the pictures of it, wait until he sees the real thing Usually my pictures don't do the little cars justice. Ran into some "family problems" here, but this one should be on its way to Rocky's hands shortly.

Building something for RustyRedRam too, but I didn't have time to take any in progress pictures. Gene

Ray, your wife is one cool lady...I had a good time talking to her! I always dig seeing the plates you do, but, ffor some reason, that second one on the top really strikes me as even cooler than usual.

P.S. Did you trade/sell that last carved striper you had? Did Jeff ever get one? If he didn't, and you still have one, I'd like to buy it for him.

 

here is a mini bike (?) gas tank, I striped, and layed some old time tattoo images. I then welded s**** metal together to hold it in place. the stainless banner reads "mi diablo".

The plate was something I conjured up in the garage this week;might use it as a trading piece.
Yes,Jeff got the last of them(except for the four mounted on the card)and I got a couple of neat shift knobs from him and JimE in trade.

Glad to hear Jeff got a brush...if anybody should own one, it would be him. the guy amazes me with how smooth and effortless he makes striping look. then I pick up a brush and it's a whole different story.
