Hey guys, My name is Brian...52 years old, live in northern CA with my wife and 12 year old daughter. I've only been back in it for about 4 years, but I spent from my early teens to my late 40's restoring/refurbishing GM vehicles...mostly '62 thru '65 Nova SS, a couple of 55's, a '57, '64 thru '67 Chevelle Malibu and SS, '48 thru 54 1/2 & 3/4 ton trucks and '62 thru '66 1/2 & 3/4 tons and '67 thru '72 1/2 & 3/4 tons. Some of the trucks were 4X4 some were street rides. I've had a lot of fun over the years. More in my profile. My daughter has been working with me the last 4 years. We recently finished a '69 Jeepster Commando 4X4, but sold it a few months ago. I decided I was just tired of trucks....and had never really done anything older than a '48.....and never a car older than my 55 210, so I found this '48 Dodge Custom 4dr. Yeah, I know it's not real hotrod material, but it is cool. So, we are giving it a little stance, already got it running, got every light inside and out working, every guage working, used the ESPO method of spring cutting to get the front end down the way we wanted. We are actually looking at a '40 Studebaker and a '40 Chev, but we figured the '48 Dodge would give us something to work on and maybe sell to get what we really want. Anyway, we belong to a couple of other forums that cater to some of our other vehicles, but we've heard some good things about this forum so I plan on doing some reading and educating myself before finishing this Dodge and starting on something more to my liking. So, " hi " to you all.
