Morning / afternoon / evening (depends what part of the world your from) all. What to say?... Ok well my name is Richard and i live in the sunny Uk, hang on i mean cold wet UK. I have been into modified cars for a considerable number of year now, none of this crap plastic modern day tatt that they call cars but real true steel cars. My daily is a 1966 Volvo amazon estate (no laughing its cool) and soon hope to have a nice little project on the go. My heart lies with hotrods and ratrods. Well im sure i will be asking help from the knowledgeable people on here and hope to keep you all informed as soon as i get round to starting a project. The biggest problem is being in UK good donor vehicles are very hard to find and when you can find them tend to be silly money... Oh to live in the states Just out of interest how many UK HAMB'ers we got here?
Hi from another Uk HAMBer. There's actually loads of Brittish rodder on here, I'm sure they'll welcome you on here. You're right Amazons are cool and there's several threads on here relating to European/ British cars if you look for them.
Nothin' wrong with an Amazon. It's old and you drive it,that makes it kool.Greetings from the Deep South(portsmouth, that is)you might wanna think carefully before using the r*t word on here though, upsets a lotta the guys.
Yeah already had that pointed out... Wondered how long it would take I could open a big can of worms here and make the comment that there is no set rule as to what one is and that it is down to how each individual interprets what a r*t is Its probably totally different to what a lot of other people interpret one as... Anyway i wont open said can of worms as i am a newbie and dont wanna upset anyone just yet Anyway thanks for all the warm welcomes....
Welcome from another New Bee Volvo owner 66 and 68 Amazon wagons the 68 is rough but will see alot of custom treatment. 66 is wifes car and will stay mostly stock.
