    the car has parallel torsion bars as it is an old jag front suspension. The flair resists flexing of the frame and mounting brackets.

    Sam was from Maine.. a local Legend.... and his pal Pontiac Slim..( a former member her...R.I.P)
    Anyhow.. can't believe nobody has mentioned that car.... Sam was a consummate Hot rodder and Bonneville guy.
