Hello all, I am Cartoonist33. I have met many of you though I'm sure not very many of you remember me. (I'm not one who talks alot). I was at the Oklahoma pinheads / letterheads meet a few years ago when I met Unkl Ian, and at the HAMB drags...."that kid" on the Schwinn Stingray. Name's Anthony Sanfilippo (Sam's son) I'm the 15 year old, third generation of Rocco & Cheater's Speed Shop Inc. and just to let you guys know, for as long as I shall live the shop will NOT close. Dad has been letting me sell vintage parts from the shelves of the shop in order to pay for college. I'm not like most kids my age I don't want a car with a spoiler I want an oldie-but-a-goodie car. I have one vintage car that was given to me at birth but no HAMBer would like it. Dad bought me a basket case 73 VW...I'm in the process of rebuilding / restoring it. For those of you who may want to know my car wish list would be: a '32 Ford, '49 chopped Mercury, '59 Cadillac Eldorado, or an old T-Bucket. BTW, I'm glad to see that you guys (and gals) think so highly of the shop and of Dad.
welcome to the hamb- nice dealing with you on that caddy stuff... being a college grad that makes me VERY happy to hear that my cash went to fund a very worthy cause... that absolutely RULES. must be cool to have a speedshop/history in the family- when I was in college- i roomed with a guy on the hamb here named bugman... he used to be named bugboy till one spring he came to college with a BLOWER on the top of his bug motor. Neck snapping fast. I've thought bugs ruled ever since. Tuck

I have had the pleasure of knowing this young man all of his life. He has worked at the family busines since 4 yrs of age. He knows hot rod and race parts. he is a pleasure to be around not like most 15 yrs old who annoy me. He is also a very good artist so now I will try to get him to pinstripe and letter some time soon. As said in amother post you will have a good experence doing busisness with Anthony {cartoonist 33}...Bobby......
welcome to the HAMB...looks like you got it in your genes i have a couple good friends in Birmingham next time im down we'll try and swing by the shop enjoy
great to have you, bugs are cool, im sure we'll see some pretty sweet stuff roll out of your garage. cant wait to see some pics. way to keep the passion alive as well.
Welcome to the HAMB from Oklahoma. Your wishlist is almost the same as mine. Hope you have better luck with it than I have. Those are my dream cars, but any old car is fun. CH
WELCOME. Don't kid yourself. Plenty of HAMBers (me included) dig the VW scene. Just don't talk about it too much here.
Welcome Anthony! Your dad's a swell guy. I am sure you will follow with the family traditons. I am looking forward to touring the shop this year. Sparky ,Poor Boys C.C. TN.
