I'm building a 32 roadster and have a particular look in mind. Try to picture in your head, a roadster built back in the late 50's. It would have a small block Chevy....oil fill tube up front....rams horn exhaust (I like them!).....a 2 barrel Rochester 2G (manual choke) and an air cleaner with dual snorkels. The car has a brand new 350 long block in it already. That was my thought for the base motor. Now that I am underway (after a few years away from the car), I am again trying to move along. I have am***ed a number of parts (intake and carb). Not being the most informed person, I now find the 350 head ports and the small block intake ports are different sizes. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge on this type of project? I could certainly use some help (and it will be much appreciated!!)
It’ll run well, smaller intake ports than the heads, isn’t the worst thing in the world. Put it together with what you have and enjoy.
That's why I like 3 deuces, looks cool and I'm running a two barrel all the time. Just like in the late 50's.
