It's been quite a while since I've posted here. Here's a picture of what I've been up to.
My tribute to the Lincoln Futura. There's no mistaking that the Futura had a big influence in the styling of the 1956 and 57 Lincolns. This is basically my interpretation of what the car COULD have looked like had it been released to the public. My goal wasn't to build a kustom, per se, but rather a "fictional concept car". Here are some of the mods: 58 Impala front bumper, hand made grille, 55 Pontiac side trim, 51 Kaiser hood ornament, kustom skirts, 61 Plymouth aero steering wheel, 61 Dodge instrument cluster, 60 Chrysler swivel bench seat, custom rolled and pleated upholstery on seats, dash, and my homemade console, and a bunch of other little details. I'll post more photos later on. ^xxxafa383869-7eb6-4b67-9446-f190f8dc0c21.jpg

  4. IMO, your car is a beautiful expression of what a custom 1956 Lincoln should be .

  13. Ok? So now what? Will you live in reality or is this just an exercise in pipe dreams. Will this be happening? Curious minds want to know.

I was just about to say this is very Max Gearhead worthy. Glad I was right.

    Very cool indeed.
