Yeah, yeah.......so does this mean we HAMBers get all our cars in R&C? Hey, how 'bout some free subscriptions? Stickers? Do I still get in K.C. goodguys? Congrats, Jim........you'll do just fine.
Hey Jim, You know I'm one of those guys that have known about this for weeks but have never formally congratulated you on your move...so here it is: CONGRATS!!! Glad you're doing something you enjoy even more... R- Ps, is your home e-mail the same? And I'm gonna need your address real soon!!!

Actually, he's in the penthouse suite; I'm at the dirty warehouse...he'll have to make an outward effort to get violated (which shouldn't be a problem). [/ QUOTE ] Hey RF what about me. I'll be starting next week! Can I accidently drop the soap in front of your office door?
Jim, I have only one request for future R&C issues. MORE, MORE, MORE late-late '60s and '70s thin fendered hot rods.

Jim, Gary's loss is R&Cs gain. All the best to you. We need more hard core hot rod guys like you with the magazines to keep the suits in line. R&C will only get better with you there.
why not check up on the back issues instead? haha [ QUOTE ] Jim, I have only one request for future R&C issues. MORE, MORE, MORE late-late '60s and '70s thin fendered hot rods. [/ QUOTE ]
You're Alright Jim...! You're the only one at GG's that tried to open their eye's and I understand your battles you had to endure to implement those changes. Good Luck at R&C....! Mark

[ QUOTE ] You guys sure don't stay at one job too long. Good luck. r [/ QUOTE ] They even put the long timer's names on their cubicle doors with Velcro....
Is that supposed to impress? All I can read is "blah, blah, blah- I'm a grumpy ol' S.O.B." Can someone please translate? I would try to be polite but I've seen that has gone nowhere with your repeated blantant and misguided attacks on R.F. and his magazine. P.S.- what exactly are you a doctor of? "I-like-to-hear-myself-talk-ology"? 9400 posts! WOWEEEEE!
Wish there was, but no one I know covered it. If Ryan has some really good pictures I could make a story out of it. But without top notch pics I can't make it happen. Thanks Jim

Jim, Congratulations!!!!! Sounds like the perfect job. We all know it will be lots of hours but the subject matter should keep it fun. Can't wait to see your stuff in R&C , we know you will make it better. Chuck
Yeah Jim..I don't hate you either.. You dont need to seek approval from anyone...I think its safe to say you are well respected throughout the rodding community..Straight up! even though you like to twist my ***ties sometimes....I mean that literally to guys,he's into S and M candle wax the whole nine yards!!! hehehe
JimA, congradulations. I was looking forward to meeting you in KC this month. Best of luck in your new job, McCray
Good to hear JimA. I'm sure it'll be a ball. I've been doing a fair bit of contributing down this end of the world and it sure beat WORKING for a living! LOL Maybe one day when I grow up I can work for R&C too. Will you write me a reference? Can't wait to see the first issue (sometime next year ).
As I have said many of times over the past years.. Thou I think I did tell you out in the open, alot of mine was also behind the scenes... You did good, no you did a great job at GG and to be honest it was not the same this year at Ptown not seeing you run around.
Thanks everyone! Every month when I put together the Gazette the main thought in my head would be "will HAMBers like this" because to me that's the audience I most identify with. It's like even if you don't look at the HAMB or have ever heard of it, but like traditional stuff we all speak the same language. Most often an issue would come and go with no fanfare, but I don't remember one getting totally ripped apart either so I guess that's a good thing Hopefully (no make that I'm sure) R&C will will get to a larger audience of traditional loving folks and you all will be happy with the improvements we have planned. Again thanks and remember I was stinking up the HAMB before I ever made it to the rod magazines!
