One of south Florida's last stations with outside service bays. It's gone now. I got a pic one morning with my truck before they took it down.

Here is my garage. The pump is a Gilbarco96c, The pepsi cooler is a bottle hanger, still has the .10c validator. The air pump is Gilbarco. My wife used to sled on the Coke sign....

WRAL TV takes a roadtrip to Winston-Salem to learn about the historic Shell Station (and Preservation NC NW regional office) from Old Salem's John Larson.

I own this this Standard Oil station now converted into an apartment building. It's right next store to my shop in Fairbury Illinois. The picture came from a postcard that I would guess was taken in the 40's by the cars in the pics.

Here's a picture I took of "Terrible Terry's" station in Arizona (I think), waaaay back in 1956 when I was just 10-years old. My parents, an older brother & I were heading to California for a vacation in a '51 Buick. I was really intrigued with that gas station back then.

If anyone can positively I.D. the locale, I'd sure appreciate it

  14. This one is off of I-80 in Nebraska, it use to have huge wagon wheels on it. I remember seeing this back in the 60's as a kid and somewhere in all my pictures I have a picture of it from the mid 90's w/the wheels still on it.

One of the first, maybe the 1st GULF gas station in the USA was in the city of Pittsburgh Pa.

and the idiots let it get torn down.
