Yet another new guy from SoCal

Hi guys, my name is Michael Duffey and though I live in L.A. now, I spent my first 44 years in Oakland. I roadraced for a few decades, single seaters mostly, but am now looking the direction of solid axles and enough road equipment to hang a plate on the back. I have a soft spot for inline motors
(I have some seat time in a tube framed GMC powered "special" that was built in 1953) and am looking to do something similar on the street.
It would be great to hear from anyone who has done an inline powered Modified.
