    anyone know any thing about these cable brakes or is it just one of these thing you just have to swap out for juice ?

    The cable brakes on my stock '37 coupe haven't leaked one drop of brake fluid since the Hindenburg crashed. DD

    I would change them to more modern (39 and up) brakes. Those old mechanical cable brakes really keep you on your toes, and wear you out trying to stop. This past summer I was watching a small tv clip for the travel channel being made here in Dawsonville. We used a 48 Ford sedan for the moonshine car, and an original 37' Humpback Ga State Patrol car. After filming, I rode back to town in the 37' and we almost didn't stop several times:eek:I got kinda scared for a second. Anyway, long story short, change them, and you can give me a ride later:cool:

    :eek: iv got some juise backing plates kickin around might be a good idea then lol !!! i got the motor all stipped down going to take it into the machine shop in the am :)

    motor is off to the hottank fingers crossed i have s block in the mean time hopefully i can get some time to polish up my aluminum ford heads that came on it :) stay tuned folks

    It will be nice son when the engine is all done ! You'll have two now to take to A & W on thursdays. Oh you can only drive one at a time.....I could help you with that
