My name is Lou and I've been an on again/ off again lurker for a few years now. So I figured it was time to step out and introduce myself. I was born and raised around Hot Rods my entire life. Teachers use to talk to my parents because any art project/creative writing/etc usually involved cars to some degree. I spend my days ordering vehicles for a large rental car company. Anyway, I have a '60 Chev that I just recently got back together after sitting for 10 years and a '48 Ford F-1. I guess that is about it, except for I'll be at the Hot Rod Cinematic this weekend. (Another reason for finally getting off my seat and registrating.)
I thought I'd try posting a couple of pics. The last one is a '50 Ford I was better known for owning. I sold it a couple years ago. It's in AZ now and doesn't look anything like it. But, that's another story....
I didn't know you had sold the 50 Ford. I always liked that car, it was a driver for sure. But I guess I don't have to tell you that. Welcome to the HAMB.
Thanks for the welcome. I'm from North College Hill, over on the west side. John B: Yeah I sold it two years ago at Ducktail. I just recently received a call from a guy who bought it on ebay. Below is a picture of it now....can you believe it? I carry pictures of it in my '60, so if you see me somewhere just ask. But, don't eat lunch first. Oh well, I'm already collecting parts to clone it. Mike B: Yeah my dad still has the forty. Pic. below. It might be my ride to the Cinematic if I don't fix the headlights on my '60.
Been meaning to tell ya, it was great BSing with ya at the Cinematic. I really like that 60 of yours.
