    Thingy,

Don't you feel even a little bad pulling out the big guns on us poor devils. For those out there that don't know who Mike Kirby is....he's the god of inline 6's. I've talked to him a few times and the man KNOWS. He runs a twin engine (6cyl chevy) dragster that runs in the 7's.

Oh !!! He is just going to show me what to do to make the little motor live.. I'm not going to go all out on it..But you got to admit,Some of the motors here are pretty exotic...

As we all know wishful thinking sometimes turns into reality and we get what we wish for. That's what happened to my GMC. The better part of common sense went out the door and a GMC Frankenstein (sp) was created. Once committed there is no turning back. If (?????) the damn thing holds together it should be a pretty serious piece, and my partners and I will be able to make a decent showing at the strip. It's almost a clone to the engine Mike Kirby was running in his altered roadster. If it makes 75 percent of the power he was making I'll be tickled pink.

Without a doubt having him as a consultant will reap rewards.

    No sweat ****, send'em over.

You going to have your HAMBster along for the 23rd? Sure would like to see it there, even unfinished. Would it fit in the box if you propped the front wheels up over the other car's front wheels?

    Hey, I'm trying here .............. :D

Hell...I don't even know if it will work or not. But as they use to do 60 yrs ago, Try something.. This is basically a stock 194 intake manifold.. That I cleaned up a bit with a sanding disc and bored out the single one barrel plentum, Put a radius on the edges, Built the top piece out of a piece of 2" by 4" rectangular aluminum tubing. Tapered both ends down and welded in pieces.. You notice it still uses the original 2 bolt holes off the manifold to hold the top piece on..Gonna use 2 Stromberg 97s..It might not work, But the stock one did.. Just addea a couple of carbs....Thanks **** for posting these for me..Still haven't figured out this computer yet....****...
