OK ****, I finally figured out some of the changes they just hit me with on Village Photo today.
These should be clickable thumbs that go to your photos (that I downsized to less than billboard size).

Feed the Squirrels, tuppence a bag.

Actually I think the shifter will work better with some rods to the transmission arms.:D

No sweat ****, it ain't you causing me the grief.
It's the manic need for constantly "newifying" these computer things when they were working just fine that gets my chonies in a bunch. Hell, I drive a '62 Toad 'cause I can still repair it without an electronics degree.
Well, that and it's ugly enough to turn my crank, all the new **** look like half filled water balloons with wheels.

Just spent 4 1/2 hrs, working on making the trans shift like it's suppost to..Next is the hydraulic clutch set up. I would rather have linkage, But just not enough room for it and my size 12s in the same space.. Also starting to look at where to put switches and gauges...Just keep plugging away at it..**** M

If you do something every day, no matter how small, it may seem like you aren't making any progress, but sooner or later you will run out of stuff that needs to be done and the car will be just what you wanted it to be.

Hang in there ****, you are doing fine.:D

Settled on the name for this car..Midnight Madness jr. Yes that is the same as my Fiat, without the junior part..But that way I don't have to change any of the signs on the trailer... Of course that is, If I ever get this thing done...

    Took ya long enough.:p

So I guess that means the car is gonna be painted black?

We had ours named before we decided to build one.:D

Actually, I had picked the name for a different project that never left the mental engineering stage, so it was an easy carryover.

Well I got my water pump set up all figured out and partially built.. Im using the standard Chev.6 pump. but am driving it with a Ford heater motor at about 20 to 1 ratio..Just enough to keep the water flowing slowly enough to let the radiator cool the water. Plan is to run the motor around 180 degrees..I'm machining my own pulleys for the pump and motor..After this, I'm going to start building my drive shaft...

    ****,
If that heater motor proves to not have enough power, Jegs sells a 1500 rpm motor for driving a water pump. It is expensive by my standarda at $56.99.

Thanks Bob.. I did a little testing on about 5 different motors. This one I got is a real hunker. When I hooked it up to a battery, The darn thing just about jumped out of my hand. It is 3" in dia. and spins at about 1500 rpm..We'll find out...**** M

Do you know what the motors came out of? I'm going to the junkyard Tuesday on a carb collecting mission. Wouldn't mind grabbing a couple of those husky heater motors too.
