Ok..built this 350 with things left in in my garage...and I have had this old tr1x tunnel RAM for a long time I never had anything worth putting it in... ok so as usual moneys a factor here so I am getting to to a point to think about carbs.. all I have is big (750 and up) carbs laying around.. I also have a couple Rochester 2 barrels and a couple holley 2 barrels here too.. is can I stick a 2 barrels on this thing? I know I have 1 adapter laying around is a reason I can't use these things? I have a mild street cam and home ported heads...2500 stall and a and 373 gears... I am sure some one has asked this before but I etched and couldn't find it if they did...
The question is why?? It would look like crap-especially with the adapter. You can pick up a pair of used 390's or 450's fairly cheap. Sell your 750's and 2 barrels to offset the cost or wait to save up some money to do it right.
Are any of the 4bbl carbs you have vacuum secondary type? or have an air valve in the secondary side? If so, you could try to run them and see how it works. If you have a few big double pumpers, you could probably sell them for enough $$$ to buy some used carbs that will work better.
