Yet another 'whats it worth' Ford 9" posi

What I've got:
Ford 9" with Posi and 4.56 gears
Put it together about ten years ago but its got less than 2k on it. Its in a car that I don't mess with much anymore, but for some reason I keep it around. I've got a new rearend for the car, something a little more street friendly, but I hadn't planned on swapping it for a couple more years. The T's been my priority.

Oh, yeah, Summit gears, new clutch disks in the posi, 28 spline. Thanks.

 

You should add that you have a guy sniffin' around for it, so you are looking for market values so you don't get ripped off or scare the guy away. ( I am not the guy)

Sounds like you need a T56 6 speed trans. It'll make those 4.56s much more highway friendly I'd say $300-$400 for what you've got, but that's just a guess.

 

I'll go with Bugman. Nice set up, but 28 spline holds it back.

Yeah, the T56 would be nice. The car's just so low on the totem pole that it'll be a long time before that happens.
