    8 Track!

I'm in the kinda like the outside camp too (for it's weirdness) but sitting in the car staring at the 70s low budget scifi dash would give me a headache.

Surprized this one isn't in the ugly custom thread.

I think if you lowered it more and painted it black it'd look better, but there's no gettin past the funkiness factor, the rear view is better, but then I've always been an ass man!

That one goes along the lines of the same rules as fat chicks wearing spandex... just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

That car is awesome. I'd roll that bad boy no problem. I think you'd have to wear a silver metal flake helmet, cape, and gloves though when you drive it. If it was a couple g's I swoop on it for sure!

first thought: I absolutely hate it. it bugs in an indescribable manner.
but couldn't stop looking. disgust turned to intrigue. i kept looking...kinda like if you stumbled onto a murder scene. went back to look again. found my self slightly excited when i found more and bigger pics. i don't know...it's like a bad song i can't get out of my head! so, if a piece of art causes you to stop, ponder, think and feel various strong emotions is it a sucessful piece?

I'm not sure that 40 years ago we would think the same way we do today.
I can definetly see that as a 60's custom. Right or wrong a LOT of work went in to it.
Whenever I see pictures of an ugly custom that was found in an old garage or in a junk yard I wonder what I would do if I was the one that found it.
Would I turn up my nose and walk away or would I see it as a chance to preserve some auto history? Do you "correct" the things that are wrong or restore it to it's original design?

Seeing the different comments on this you call see it's all subjective. There's no right or wrong just a difference of opinion.

Myself, I kinda like it. But I also happen to like women with big butts. :D

Paint it bright alumumum and air brush rows of rivets on it and drive em nuts at Trekie conventions.
Somehow that windshield looks like the rear window out of something and wouldn't pass muster as a windshield on the road.

I have to think that someone on here (not me) could take that thing and make a winner out of it without making that many changes. That "hide the flaws" white paint has to go first.

Metal Flake paint and some supremes....Think about it. While the majority of us would love to own a Roth or Rothesque car, this one is not cool? To me, it comes from the same era, I like it. I see on these pages a leaning to all do the same thing, the individualism has been throughly beaten out of hot rods and customs. It takes a brave man to stand alone.

  25. I don't like it enough to pay what it is going for on ebay but I do like the concept. A little fine tuning here and there and it would be really cool.

So Ebay and Craigslist links to it stop popping up on the HAMB...
