Please stop by and say hey - I will be set up there selling the VIntage TOrque magazines and DVDs.

    Issue #3 will premiere there!

Come by and take a look.

Not sure there will be enough guys to have a meet and greet...........

Will anyone go to the get together the night before the show?

I will be there as well - I think the Dynotones will play there that night and at the show.

wow - you are taking your car over ?
I have always wondered how that worked - do you have to ship it over or does Mooneyes pay the shipping fees and stuff?

also - do you get in on Thursday or Wednesday before the show?

    and

do the cars all roll in on Friday ?

or do they start coming in on Thursday?

i just got back late last night. it was awesome! shigae said attendance topped 10,000 people. there were 250 bikes and about 200 cars. weesner was there, dan collins was there, cole foster was there, ask him about cab rides in japan. jimmy shine did go, he likes to leave sharpie marker marks on your hands when you're not looking, lol. a **** ton of beatniks were there and james hetfield's buick was there. jimmy shine brought a '57 chevy (with '56 side trim) g***er and left tread marks on the show floor with it.

a huge thank you to chico and shigae, they took great care of us all and threw a hell of a weekend with multiple parties. good times!
just watch out for that octopus jerky. bleeeech!

There's a cheaper way. If you drive up the Alsakan highway to the Aleutian islands during the coldest part of winter an ice bridge forms that connects to Siberia. You can then drive through Eastern Russia and take a trolley to Northern Japan. You will save a ton of $. You need a p***port and Permission to cross into the USSR.

I asked the same question - seems you can get a container that holds 2 cars shopped over for a few thousand $$$$

so you should try to split it with someone sending over stuff - I am sure a shipping agent will be able to tell you much more details

here is a link to the pix

  30. great pic collection. I recognized a couple of cars, one coupe a friend brought over and then sold, also recognized a couple of the bikes from Moon employees...

The cars with the red diagonal on the plates, were these cars that were brought over?? I know this is a temp plate thing, prob to make it "legal" to drive the roads while in Tokyo..
