Great batch of shots Lyle. I must be getting old (ha) but I can't place the lady in the flowered dress and hat. Linda and Carol look great, as do the 2 Fiats, but I just can't place that other lady in your pix.

 

The lady is Bud Faubel's wife, Barbara. She makes all of their own clothing and they do ballroom dancing as a hobby. They come to York every year dressed to the nines. Bud Faubel was a fighter jet pilot in Korea, a drag racer most of his life and now a ballroom dancer. He tours the nostalgic drag race circuit. He and his wife are about 83 or 84 years old.

Hey TroubleMaker427 -- Congrats on making it as far as you did in eliminations on Sunday. It was great watching your car. I'll put some links up to my photobucket page when I get them on it. I'll also try to load some video on YouTube when I get the chance, I'll post the links on this thread.

Thanks Brian. Stop by next time you see us at the track. We did ok I guess. Got some of Beaver Bob's money... I had a punctured slick after the second round. We were airing it up just prior to the burnout and my great wife was holding her finger over the hole!! It's not an excuse though, the driver was a bit late on the last run and I went .02 to quick. Time to fire the driver...lol

I didn't get any pictures from the actual drags-- I took a few videos but they came out terrible, and I can't be bothered to take pictures when drags are going on in front of my face.
