Anyone at, or going to the NSRA show in York this week? If you're there, what's up? Looks like it will be over 90 degrees and $19 to get in. HMM

I was a vendor at the show for 16-17 years. Always sold a good amount of product there. I would abandon my booth occasionally to check out the swap meet, wasn't the biggest but usually had some neat parts for sale. Enjoyed the cars as there were a lot of real unique hot rods you never saw anywhere else. It was a long drive every year from Nebraska to Penn but worth it. Also am a Winters dealer so a trip to the factory every year was on the agenda.

  3. We'll be set up there, and as mentioned in our other post from earlier today we're also hosting an Open House at our plant tomorrow afternoon for those who are getting into town for the show. Hope to see some of you at our event or at the show.

  4. York, NSRA, used to be my best swap meet when I was still selling at many swap meets. I would come down from Connecticut, about a 5 hour trip, and stay from Thursday until Sunday. Now, I live about 1, 1/2 hours away, and I have gone a couple of times as a spectator. It is not the same as it was, only a few vendors selling early stuff. Now, I live about 25 minutes from Carlisle, and I go to the Ford show there. I found more early Ford stuff at Carlisle, than the last few years at York.

Went today. Hot as blazes, decent swap meet, VERY few vendors, not even enough to fill one building, fair number of cars but A: lots of post-49 cars and B: nothing like the old days of 6000+. I didn't bother with pictures and left after about 4 hours. A fine day with friends, but not memorable. Cars for sale seemed to be fairly priced.

Went today. HOT. Temp in the 80's $17. to get in and $5. to park. Fair number of vendors in swap but not much old stuff. Junior runs a great swap but not like the old days when I sold there. MantuaJohn

  7. Went Friday to Fords @ Carlisle in 91 degree heat, now too beat to go to York today. Would be only the second time missing Nats East since 1974 @ Timonium. Don't think I'm missing very much.:( 20170314_113600.jpg

  8. That sounds dear, but minimum wage here is 15 bucks an hour, so it really isn’t that bad…

It's $19, but you get $2 off if you are a Senior or military.
