Man how do they race every Friday/Saturday night with 900 H.P. plus on dirt tracks all over the U.S. and Canada with Bias ply

I just had a belt break with no warning and instantly deflate on less then 6 month old radial going down the in road on my 2018 Silverado in was the left rear however in could have just a easily been a front tire.

I steady calm rolled out of the throttle let it slow down slowly and coasted off the road.

But does that mean all radial tries are bad and I should trust them?

Seems like the tire suffered, either from a manufacturing mistake or some trauma.
Glad that you pulled through it and avoided a tragedy. :D
I still though will put my trust in the radial design.
I can think of other times, back in the day, that the bias design caused rainy days skids and spin outs with no safety penalties. I am first to admit to a lead foot and cannot claim total innocence.
The incident I spoke of earlier occured during a sane and safe normal drive and was directly caused by bias tire design on a rain slick road.

I'll consider going back to bias-ply tires the day after I change my oil to non-detergent.

I've never had a problem with bias ply tires, I will say on a rode with groves they will move arond a lot. HRP

Honestly do you really see the need in carving corners in this thing……….bias ply is the ONLY way to go:D IMG_3486.jpeg

BFG G-78 15’s. Drove on these for a couple years and never had an issue, if you understand the tires quirks or limitations. I really like the look of the square, block appearance of a bias-ply tire.

I prefer radials on my road cars and bias ply on my trailers Radial trailer tires are more likely to tear up trailer fenders when they fail. My trailer tires tend to age out before they wear out.
