    Man,
Almost every time I have been working on my Biscayne project lately I wind up cutting myself....geesh...
*Last week....New chrome battery tray....edges sharp...cut my fingers putting it in..
*Today, putting the boot and chrome trim on my floor shift...chrome sharp...yep blood again.
    * A couple days ago working on starter hook up (from top)...wondered what that red stuff was on top of fender....yep cut my arm....
    *and on and on .....
The chrome **** you buy today is terrible (at least the stuff I get)
What ever happened to quality ???
    How 'bout you guys ????
    Cheers,
    Bob :D

Used to work installing heating systems; my co worker and I always said "If you're not bleeding you're not working hard enough". Then I worked 32 years for a steel rule die company, handling razor sharp cutting dies every day..never had a s***ch in 32 years, some guys couldn't go a month without a trip to the E.R....

  4. Every single day I cut, poke, filet, scratch, or rub skin off. If there is a razor blade even remotely near me, it is certain that I will be bleeding soon. When I was a kid, my mom said I had "One-A-Days", where I'd get hurt once a day doing stupid stuff. I've had my One-A-Days for over 32 years now.

This one needed s***ches, but I didn't get any...

Yes , and the best bandages you can buy are COVERLET. They will conform and stick better than any other. I have had them on for days sometimes. Accept no other brand. If you can't find them in the store buy them on line.

  6. What are band-aids? A blue shop towel wrapped in masking tape works for me.

I'm on blood thinners. I don't bleed I squirt. Just bumping a piece of metal will create a Niagria Falls of the red stuff. I keep a ton of paper towels where ever I am working to sop it up. The one good thing is it stops fast. It don't keep me from turning wrenches 'tho.

i am constantly stopping what i'm doing to see where i'm bleeding. i usually dont even feel it , i just see blood dripped or smeared on something.

once during a long wait at the dentist's office i got bored and started counting the scars on my hands .....i counted over a hundred with more to go before i finally got called for my appointment.

just nicked my hand with a grinder welding Braces in on my frame for a model a. 5 stiches later I'm back to woking on the car. Just today i went to take the headers off my car and I hit my figer on the bottom of the valve cover and sliced open my finger. The blue shop towel and masking Tape worked great

Thinners are a way of life here as well. Sometimes it works out good. I spilled a little behind this seat in the build process........kind of hope it is still there

if you have a wife that is a little over worried about you, try the liquid bandaid stuff... works wonders and keeps things a little cleaner/protected on the sore spots.

We keep a full first aid kit out there now. Seems like every time I turn around there is a bloodletting happening. :(

When I was married, my wife used to hide the X-acto knives from me. I have finally started using latex gloves and it helps some.
