You've barely gotten close to completion on one project when two more show up ;)

Dr. Phil ftw! If you don't get it, it won't make sense to you know matter how we try to explain it... I'm 25 and have had roughly 40+ cars, no sign of slowing down any time soon

A 40 Ford PU that isn't of much interest to most people on here. Aside from that I mostly trade. I picked up my Sedan in a trade for my Model A coupe. It's addicting, but better than some other things I could be hooked on right?!

Its a GOOD addiction! It keeps us out of trouble and we never suffer from boredom and too much $$$. Used to have a sign on the door of my race car garage....."-- CAUTION-- Thru this door lies an addiction that there is no cure". No longer have racers, but sign still applies to "HOT ROD" addiction. "CAR Crazy" all my life... Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. John

You know you're hooked when you've run out of space, but still keep looking for more projects!

I figured out how bad I was hooked when I moved to a new place with no shop. I am having withdrawals while waiting for the new building to get finished. It's hell, man!

Many years ago that's what my wife told her girlfreinds with drunken husbands. "At least I know where he is!" That's partly why I kept her.;)

Vertical antique car "hanging" was invented by a hambers grandfather. This is what happened after a fire in one of his buildings.

Read up on Barney Pollard collection. He bought super rare very old cars way back, and hung them up.

When you haven't the money, yet you keep looking at the same ad for 3 weeks straight and wondering, "How the hell could I possibly pull this off?"

But I wouldn't do that.

I think this nails it. Same for parts as well. What do I have, that I could live without, to trade for this part that I cant seem to stop looking at? Most of the time I cant bare to part with my trading stock either. btw, I have nice A frame I'll trade for a decent deck lid...:D
