This is what I have to go through everytime I want to move my car!The garage is a rental,so,I don't want to spend the money to level it.I hope to own my own shop someday!
oh, the lengths we go to... on the right side of the foto is that a support pillar? i'd fix that... nic
damn. I would build a little removable wooden ramp. A few 2X4s and a couple sheets of 3/4" plywood and youre in business... JT.
I have to run the front up on planks.I then jack the rear till it's level, block the planks up then run it in.The stuff beside it is an old side from my scotty rolled up.It's not load bearing. Sorry DrJ(you might want to start wearing depends )
[ QUOTE ] Damn you! I laughed so hard I had a juicy fart, now I gotta go wipe! [/ QUOTE ] iam shocked by this... you should share... the melted chocolate
go and grab your self some cold patch (pavement repair compound its CHEAP!). and build two runners right where your wheels ride at to get your ass up in there.
build long, low angle ramps... or, look at the metal ramps that trailer queens use. they are light weight and easy to use. when not in use, just slide them under the car. bada-bing! HC
The planks work just fine.I didn't want it to fill-up with rain when the big storm goes over.(not that the roof keeps it dry inside )
Ahhh, safety first at our job sites! What is a finger, leg, head, quart or two of blood between friends. It smells like someone crapped themselves. PLAN9?
Looks to me that $50,00 in concrete would would save a lot of ass bustin ....but it's your ass.....not mine..... Fatchuk
Hell if nothin else, have a load of gravel dumped there. the time you spend tryin to get her out is wasted build time...To
Haha! I did get a kick out of that. I would definitely lay some concrete at the edge of the garage and build a ramp. Yeah, you're renting, but when do you realistically expect to own a garage? If it's two months away, fine, but that's a DANGEROUS waste of time to get the car in.
Thanks for the ideas all.I just wanted you to see what a pain in the rear it is for me to move that thing.Believe me,I've thought of all kinds of solutions. No matter what I do I'll have to level it with the jack.
