20220814_133400.jpg These popped up on kijiji the other day 4 nos chrome reverse made by Thrush. The boxs were in rough shape, they were dated 1968. The guy had them laying around his garage 20 years awaiting a project that never happened. The price was right and I couldn't get there soon enough. There 14×6 4.5 bolt pattern. Its amazing whats still sitting around in people's garages.

Those are cool, and the boxes are cool, too. I never knew Thrush marketed anything except exhaust related products, I wonder what else they sold.

Found this online. Apparently they also offered filters, shocks, and their own branded oil.

The only problem is they're 14"....it's difficult to find many tire sizes in that diameter these days.

  11. Nice score, there are even four of them, one for each corner. I have several matched set of three rims, or a pair and a spare.

The guy was going to throw the boxs out recycle them he said I couldn't let that happen. I just happen have 4 new coker wide white walls 14" sitting in the garage. Yes the 14" wheels are not all that desirable.

You did good. I have a variety of vintage NOS parts and sometimes the art work on the packaging is just as cool a score as the parts inside.

That ad is CREEPY. Birds and "beast" and shirtless guy in the woods with a neckscarf.

Get me the F away from that scene as fast as possible with some Thrush speed parts.

I need four for my 62 impala. All I find is ford pattern wheels here. Can't even find 14 inch ones here for a chevy.

  24. Damn…perfect for any 60’s Ford product…

I scored 6 total 14” chrome OE wheels Chevy bolt pattern last year..2 were brand new, with stickers, 30 bucks, and the other 4, two matched the new ones I found and 2 were true reverse..got the whole lot for 110 bucks..did my friend a solid and passed them on to him. He just got some pinner whites and mounted them on his Chevy wagon over the weekend

14" wheels were the hot ticket in the very late 50's and 60's, very period correct, and they're the antithesis to large diameter wheels, so I really like 14's. Maybe if they were 10" wide or something it'd be hard to find tires, but there are tons of available 14 inch sizes for a 6" wide wheel. I'd totally run those.

Found a similar deal at the swap meet. Just talking to someone who had a new set of 14" chrome reverse wheels with a weird small 5 bolt pattern. Knew right away that they would fit my '64 Barracuda.
