Going the wrong direction!!!! getting the chassis ready to go to paint!! Little bit of clean up and some finish welding and it's off!!!

Chad I am next I am pulling it apart monday and sending the frame to the powder coaters then my body will be on the dolly getting some finish work. I fianaly made it all fit up and replaced a bunch of wood !! I sent some stuff to the platers. Still plenty to do good luck and keep getting after it.

Looks like we're neck and neck Terry... I sent some parts to the chromer last week!!!

 

Wheres Kathy we need a progress report on Tuffy last photos I seen was someone drinking beer and drooling over a hemi !

We need to have an intervention for Kathy.... at least move the beer farther away and tuffy closer to her!!

You guys are sooooo funny! You know I am on a 3 beer limit since my pacemaker - but I drink them real fast! Actually I begged my neighbors last night and we pulled to body off - keeps getting heavier! Time for primer and paint - no beer just huffin!

Great! I took her around the block this weekend! Off to the muffler and alignment shop this week. If all goes well, I'll be coming down to check your progress in a couple of weeks. Gotta get some shakedown miles on before LSR!!!

Thanks Pincher/TBird!!! Dropped the body off at the body shop, they're going to prime all the parts, and paint my frame/axle/wishbones since they are ready! Gonna bring the body back home and finish off patching the new rusty spots that were opened up!!

 

At least the chrome is done!

Chadillac- Who is doing your sandblasting? Do they do soda blast?

 

Jager... Jerry's Sandblasting.... that's all he does no soda.... and the guy blast with ear plugs only.... no shield... or ventilator!!

 

My T coupe came out just fine from the blaster....and he used SAND.

My rule of thumb is to listen to the actual person doing the blasting (or whatever service) before taking the advice of interent gurus....

I had the same thing happen when i blasted my 27 Chad,you think you have desent metal until you blast it. My beltline opened up a ton of large holes,and pin holes down the side of rear window panel.I can't imagine a guy blasting with no mask or vent system. Keep up the good work .......PINCHER
