Ah. Sweet. That bare block had me wondering if you were going to have to rebuild it before then. Apparently not.

Looks like you don't have any excuse to not get this up and driving around before then. :D

Haha... he's referring to LSR as Land Speed Racing instead of Lone Star Roundup. Most people don't actually read the threads before commenting:D

Chad, I am sorry I was mean to you. The car looks very good. Now it appears that I am the one not going to LSR.

See what happens when you're mean!!! :(

Terry... I'm running a 57 F100 box, mounted ontop the frame rail, it's tight up next to the 350 with a 1/8" to spare but it works!! :D

The old passenger side is starting to look like a door again!! Too bad those expensive door skins from Howells don't fit worth a crap!! Hinge location is off a 1/2"!!

I'd like to see a picture of how you mounted the steering box to the frame. I hate how mine looks and now I am thinking about a pillow block design mounted on top of the frame rail.

Thanks for the pictures - too bad I already cut off the mounting bolts, now I am thinking this is how it was done originally.
