Terry... I'm running a 57 F100 box, mounted ontop the frame rail, it's tight up next to the 350 with a 1/8" to spare but it works!!

 

The old passenger side is starting to look like a door again!! Too bad those expensive door skins from Howells don't fit worth a crap!! Hinge location is off a 1/2"!!

 

Hey Howells sheet metal is like a fat girl you dont want to but sometimes you have to !!

 

I'd like to see a picture of how you mounted the steering box to the frame. I hate how mine looks and now I am thinking about a pillow block design mounted on top of the frame rail.
