My '64 ford pick-up has a straight-six (291) as it's guts. I'm damn proud but I wanna give it some more "go"!!! please help me out, give me some tips, what do I buy?, where do I buy? I'm beginning to think that the only way to make this thing go a little quicker is to buy a pair of shoes with thicker sole's so I can push it faster. DAMN THE V8 & V6!! (envious curse) I might just swap it out for one of the two....probably save some money.
Remedy.... Small Block V8 Better remedy....Big Block V8 You can probably find a running V8 to swap in cheaper than a "hotrod" intake for that boat anchor 6
If it makes ya fell better I hopped-up a weed-eater one time.Big boar kit elctronic ing. welded crank. thing went like a bat out of hell
Who are you?(Im not an intro cop but its nice to know). You should try "Clifford Performance", there slogan is 6=8 and they specialize in Ford 6's.
[ QUOTE ] More fuel + more air + free'r flowing exhaust = more power. Welcome to Hot Rodding 101. [/ QUOTE ] do this to a 300 inch six and go racin'. If you were Crow, or Ravin or someone that I knew I'd say fab and intake and exhaust then choose a cam to go with it and spin it 'til it comes apart. But I don't know if any of that makes sense to ya. So lets leave it with [ QUOTE ] More fuel + more air + free'r flowing exhaust = more power. Welcome to Hot Rodding 101. [/ QUOTE ]
