Young Punks= a Pain in my neck!!!! OT

heres the deal! and sorry its OT but hey Ive been here awhile itll be ok.
I took the Green Bean out last night for a nice run around town. I p***ed by this bar thats next to my old shop. I never go there because its full of young kids and old drunks..but this time I figure what the hell Ill give it a chance. I know the owner and most the staff. I pull up to the deck and these kids give me the ol man thats bad*** spill. I say thanks and move on to get my beer.....after a couple beers and some good chit chat with a old friend. I head out....p***ing the same kids I bumped the wobbley *** table and a kids pint knocks over.....I didnt notice anything spill but they started in on the ol "hey man you spilt me buddys beer".....**** man Im sorry Ill buy ya another, my bad....they go on and on and on I SAID ILL BUY YA ANOTHER BEER!! .......So now I got 3 dudes and a chick giving me **** for spilling a empty beer?? One got got a little to close so I grabbed him up and threw him through a table and chairs..the other hit me in the jaw and another grabbed at me ol neck.....I punched out of it and turn to face the crowd. they were still coming at me so I pulled my Knife and backed them off..the bar managere came out and broke it up...they then "told" on me for spilling the beer and pulling a knife...they faild to mention they jumped me and were about to jump me again until I evened the odds.
So being the bigger man I explained myself and left...thinking it over thats why I dont go in there in the first place, and I should have known better.
My jaw hurts and I have cat scratchs on my neck.....after all that the little ****s never even let me buy them the beer I "spilt"

thanks for letting me vent. It just kills me what ****s the youth can be.

After the fact I thought how such a stooooopid thing could change your life for ever!! If some one had really gotten hurt. I or they could of ended up behind bars for a long time or forever!!
I really did try and make it better and buy the guy a beer..they were just looking for trouble and they had me out numbered..........so they thought....Im glad I dont carry a gun, it would just be to easy. I think Ill stay home next time its safer

Cab Nads I agree with both and Know I should of walked away....The truth is some times you CANT even if you want to....lets say 3 guys in your face, No one there to break it up...if you turn to walk away...you take that chance of taking a hit to the back of your head??? Ill take my chance with 3 head on any day then walk away and never see it coming.

My Dad tells a story about when he was in the Army in the early 60s.

My Dads a little guy, and he hung out with a couple guys that were lineman for Iowa or Ohio or somewhere. Seems the same thing happened to him as he was walking out of a ginmill outside Ft Dix. Except the group of guys given' him trouble didn't know he was with the big dudes.

My Dad and these punks are out front of the bar and the words are escalatin'. All of a sudden the two buddies of my Dad are in an all out fight against each other, slamming into cars etc.

So my Dad says to the punks "See that? Their fightin' over to see who gets to kick YOUR *** when you're done with me..."

The punks walked off.

Mike, I hada similar thing happen this year. Lets just say a game of pool cost me $780 when it was all done, but I got the best of em I was lucky though, there isnt a thing as a simple fight anymore. In this state, simple ***ualt (ie fight) can get you maximum of a year. That knife would make it 5. Think about your kid, drink soda.
