your 0.02..primer for plastic bumpercovers?

    howdy all i hope the holidaze went well...i've had this question sitting on the lid for a while and thought i would toss it out to the m***es..so what would any of ya'll suggest as a good decent primer on plastic bumpercovers..you know..something that won't peel off the first time the owner takes it to a carwash...hahaha

    One manufacturer of ground effects kits recommends DuPont 2322 adhesion promoter followed by the paint mfg recommendations for painting a flexible bumper. Some prime with DuPont Variprime, let dry, then scuff with scotchbrite pad and follow with paint.

    if your looking for the cheap way, local autoparts should have spraypaint called BUMPER COAT. there is primer and most standard colors like black, or mexican chrome (silver)

    Its all about gettin it to be flexible and sticky ! Cant list what I use for that its a secret recipe!! How about posting a pic of that front door ?
