My Simca 17 stud, Stock with Aluminum heads, intake, oil filter, and crankcase. Has a improved oil system, produces 85 hp, Three speed trans. I might end up putting this in a Crosley.

    I always thought a V8-60 with a T5 would be kinda neat in a T-bucket.

This one was at a show last week end. 37 motor and trany.
What would one expect to pay for a good running 60 motor?

I believe they were quite successful in certain Hydro classes back when.

Old timer told me back in the day 37 Ford V8-60 in hilly Pittsburgh. He seen people backing up hills in reverse. Reverse was lower gear than 1st. Think about it, no substitute for cubic inches. A low torque motor is not much fun.
