Here are a few of my pasts and now... starting on my present 32 5-window! I'll be changing it to be more "my style" in the future. But for now this is the way its staying...

    Hope you enjoy....

The newest coupe of Von Franco was mine for almost 9 years till I sold it last March...sad day. I had alot of fun in that car. I had to sell it to fund a gennie roadster build. That is the fastest car I have ever been in. It is like threading a needle at full throttle. I put that engine in that car 30 days before I sold it.67 327 .30 over 11-1 compression with just about every trick in the book. It was fresh with a handful of passes on it. It was in a 1955 all-steel gasser that was over-carburated with dual quads and a 4 speed...It bogged real bad out of the hole and it still ran a 12.70 with 3.55 gears! I would imagine it is a mid to low 11 second car being 1000 pound lighter and 4.11 gears if you could get it to hook. The frame under that car came from the Henderson roadster (one of the 75 most important 32s) The reason they didnt use this frame because this frame was z'd and they restored the Henderson car with a stock frame and made it late 40s period. I'm happy that Von Franco has the car. I know it will be amazing.

The world famous McQuillen coupe is an all time favorite! I hear the latest owner is even putting the original 265 in it. Super Bad

Von Franco, you got my pal Del's old coupe, that's great. It's a fast damn machine, right?
It looks great with the hubcaps.

Here's a great car from long ago that I've never seen since. This article is from the July '52 issue of Hop Up, and details Bob Longman's channeled purple deuce roadster. To my eyes, the most distinctive feature of this otherwise nice roadster is the full belly pan -- gives it an amazing profile, although the road test (presumably written by Dean Batchelor) complains about its minimal ground clearance.

Never saw this car in public, in a show, or in any subsequent publication. According to the article, it was raced both at the lakes and the drags. I wonder what became of it.

And here's some pics (gleefully ripped from a glossy-mag site!!) of Jim Benitez' Sedan. Nicest one i have ever seen. Still get juicy when i see it.... Just sit and look at it for a while.
    Clean.
    Simple.

These and Busby's coupe are among my favourite 32's.

Mr Darwas' work is high on the list too! Pics of his latest are up earlier in the thread.....
