mine...............a 47 Pontiac with too many doors, hand painted 'brindle shit brown" with a brush! I hated it, but it got me to and from .Saved my money to buy a 49 OLds fastback, from a lady down the street and quickly replaced that butt ugly Pontiac that Dad so proudly bestowed on me. The Olds?? It was cool,fast ,and it had the right amount of doors.............two!!{this was in 1957}
1964 Buick Wildcat 2 door. I miss it. I was only 4'11' back then...Grandpa had to put BLOCKS on the pedals. I shit you not.
mine was 65 mustang. handy down from older brother. I guess thats where I got my start because when I got it, it needed body work a new motor and tranny. I bought a 66 mustang from my a guy down the street. His was pretty nice. had 289 hipo and four speed et slots and new bucketseat but he t boned a car and I got a doner. fixed mine up nice with all those parts. I was only 16 and my dad helped me. so I had a pretty bad ass little car for my first car. wish still had it to pass down to my son.
1966 Nova SS hardtop in 1984. My dad bought it for a parts car for another Nova project. Crappy brown paint, radiused wheel wells,slotted mags, swivel bucket seats covered in tan boat vynil, and hit in both rear quarters. It had a strong running 283 and I wanted to drive it because High School started in a month....and it ran. We sprayed the whole car in brown primer and over the next two years it always looked the same, but we did the body work and it just kept getting straighter. Funny how some people notice and others just say "so when are you going to start working on it". I've still got it, and no its not finished. Lots of stories with that car.
A rusty Ford Model A, bought on the day I turned 16. Don't buy an old car at night when it's buried under snow. Dave http://www.roadsters.com/

'66 Impala 283 Powerglide... you coulda landed a helicopter on the decklid! It was also my first paintjob, deep violet/burgundy with blue pearl mixed in the first clearcoat pass... I striped the shit out of the pearl, but it was a pretty ambitious maiden paintjob and it looked OK ... my friend helped me cut the coils down stupid-low in the front. Big, freaky, purple/blue, raked boat-car.
59 chevy pickup...rebuilt the 6 when I was 16, built and dropped in a big block when I was 17...still have it almost 30 years later.
It was 1982 and I bought a 1975 Opel Sportwagon. Orange, 1.9 liter Bosch fuel infected, 2 door wagon, 4 speed, black leatherette (vinyl) interior, Jensen AM/FM cassette with a blistering 17 wattts per channel, 6x9 tri-axial speakers in home-made boxes, steel rally wheels with beauty rings and enough room in the cargo area to make-out with my girlfriend.
67 Plymouth Valiant 4 door with a 318/ auto. My dad helped my with the $200 to buy it. Man o man I sure fried those bald ass tires. - 20 years later, I'm driving a 63 Valiant every day!
My first car,just had to move it last weekend. hey in '81 it was cool. relocated a arms,boss 302 springs,koni shocks,traction masters,shelby scoops Goodyear NCT's etc...Everyone else restored Mustangs then. Plan to rebuild it again soon. And notice the trailer from the first HAMB chop-that's collectible!
63 Dodge 440 2 door hardtop. Poly 318 with a pushbutton 727. I put a hard to find (at the time, before the internet) Weiand intake and 625 AFB on it. I had the fastest car at my school, which isn't saying much. Mini-trucks ruled in those days.........
'56 Cadillac Hearse complete with shades and velvet curtains. This thing still had the old crape floral pots in the back from the last funeral it attended. It had great storage under the floor with a lift-up compartment, two seats that folded flush into the floor by the right-side rear door, and some built-in metal cabinets for an extra quart or two of embalming fluid in case the corpse got a little low. I used to love to take this thing to the drive-in when a big "fright show" was on. It even had two working spotlights that made it great for backing into the woods to go "parking". Sure would love to have it now. Flattop
1982 Mustang GT. Bought it my freshman year of H.S. in 1992 and still have it today. My junior year I put a B&M blower on it and my senior year I added a 9" with 4.56 posi. I plan to revisit the car when the T is finished and undo a lot of the stupid shit I did to it in HS.
My first car was a 1950 mercury 2dr. I was about 15 years old. It was a little rusty, but not bad by todays standards. I paid $15 for it! I took it apart, played around with it, and two years later DROVE it to the junkyard. Jeez, what an idiot.
.....1948 buick roadmaster 4-door,lowered,primered.... and I still think about it!!!!..that was 1969!!
Mine was a '73 Olds Cutlass Colonade, had the swivel bucket seats, as well as most other options available. I sure miss that car.
