Finally watched the archived online feature. Great program and thanks a ton for the numerous mentions of our build, and all the great pictures from the HAMB. Your description was spot on. This is what the car looked like less than a week after your broadcast. Thanks again.....
MR. FORD....yourcar is just freaking beautiful! olskool, your lil pickup is neat to. my first was my 53 studebaker,i guess, but my first running one is the one in my avitar i just got running this year
I wish i had a picture. My 1st hotrod was a `36 chevy pick-up. A freind and I drug out of a wrecking yard back in `72. He started the project.. with a 361 mopar. We made a trade, I had to put a chevy in it. I got a 283 with a 327 crank, roller cam, tunel ram, tow 650 dubble pumpers, turbo-400, and a 12 bolt posi. I worked for Firestone at the time, and put Parnelli Jone tires mount on American 5 spoke wheels. Drive way signal ORANGE paint, with black flames. Roll bar buckets abd a sword handle shifther. That truck was bad ***ed, and would flat scream!!! God I loved those days.
Thank you for the kind words and You are Very welcome. I love your car and the fact that you have chosen a great car to recreate. It is looking fantastic. Get me pics when it's done and I will show them as well. I have posted this picture on my FaceBook page for the show. It's G.A.A.S.... Thanks again to all H.A.M.B. members that have shared photos and allowed me to use them on the show.
