Yup, you can tell when they have lots of $$$. Big garage full of cool stuff on the walls, worth more than all my cars, tools and stuff several times over.

Did everybody miss the donkeys. I don't believe that is a normal garage. Mine is my avatar, can't even afford drywall.

This is my shop right after it was built and before I filled it up with crap.

Here's a picture of my garage showing it in all it's cluttered glory. I've since organized it and messed it up a few dozen times.

That's a mansion. I make do with 20 x 24 and had to cut the doorway 11'" taller to free the COE after the build.

I agree, it's fun to look at the stuff behind the car, like neat old stuff hanging on the walls and other projects sitting around. I mainly watch American Pickers because of some of the places they go into and the neat old cars and parts the guy has stashed. But if I were some of the people on that show I would be worried about exposing my collection to the wrong people.

I've noticed that they are usually pretty vague about the location of the picks ... sometimes I'm not even sure what state they are in.

I'm ashamed to show mine. It once was a beautiful two car, now it looks like a "Babies r us warehouse." I back my truck in, till it sounds expensive, then I know I can close the garage door. The kids ask, "Dad when will you paint the truck." I say, "when your mom gets me a 30yrd rolloff."

Mine's just "organized disarray". Someone gives me something I stick it up where there's some white wall:) I have a spare bedroom for the stuff valuable to me, not necessarily valuable from a monetary aspect but more sentimental.
