The building kit with upgraded base was $10k. The nice part was we put it up just my dad & I.

Great looking facility, any idea what the building was originally?

Nope.....just 15 years of saving up and working off two sawhorses with plywood laid across the top. It took a year after the shop was built just to gather up all the cars, bikes, tools, and junk I had stashed away in other people's garages.

Thanks for the pics, I am glad that mine is not the only garage fill up with stuff. I also like seeing other bridgeport mills in them.

Wow, some of you (OK all of you) have workshops/garages that make me so jealous.
All I've got is a 20ft × 20ft square of gravel. Its not easy doing a full resto under a tarp.:(

Here's my garage. Got one more car in it, but you can't see it since it's off to the side.

the building started as a foundation for a house... only 3 walls were ever built.... it was then finished with a flat roof and was a racecar shop...building cars and aluminum bodies... also trailers and various other items... later on the left side and peaked roof was added... still continually used as a racecar shop mainly building handmade aluminum open wheel bodies untill I bought it 2.5 years ago.... still doing the same thing, myself... along with buildign hot rods and such....

I bought it from a friend of mine who had been teaching me aboue the aluminum work untill he passed away

    Thanks
    Zach

Garage is usually an extension of the persons' personality,,some are so sterile,,,nothing on the walls...reminds of the crazy womans quote" a place for everything and everything in its place" while others are so cluttered only the owner could find his way around
    I'm somewhere in between,,
