Welcome from New York City Rustem - and from a '53 Chevy owner!! My wife is from Russia (Odessa, Ukraine in fact) and could help translate if needed. Feel free to PM me, anytime.
Cool Pictures! Welcome to the HAMB from Canada, Rustem. It is great to see that hot rodding is a worldwide hobby.
Guys, I've been PMing back and forth with Rustem. He wants to swap a small block chevy engine and transmission into his car. He wants to know if he needs to change the rear end or not. I told him if he stayed under 300hp for the engine, I didn't think he'd need to change the rear end. If he wants to go to a stronger rear end, I told him a 12 bolt posi would be good. I'm not real good with Chevys, so if that's wrong please jump in and help out. His biggest problem is that the translation program doesn't translate slang and technical terms very well and he's having trouble understanding some of the replies. He is enjoying all the messages he's getting and he's happy to post pictures. If any of you ever get the chance to visit that part of the world, I'd highly recommend it. I've lived in Eastern Europe for going on 10 years, and it's a great place. The food is good, the beer is cheap, the people are friendly, and they really like Americans. It would be a vacation you'd never forget. Dan
Rustem: can you tell the story of how your Chevy got to Russia, and how you found it? I daily drive a '72 Fiat in Oregon USA. My car is similar to Russian Lada. Folks from Russia go nuts when they see it. Have met quite a few Russians because of the car. One fellow sent me several pictures of Lada customs. A few of them modified in traditional style. Even though 1972 is technically too new for traditional custom style, it is very interesting to see traditional culture applied to the cars they had to work with. Apparently there are no "traditional police" in Russia! Your English is fine.
the rear end needs to be changed as well. these cars have a torque tube. modern transmissions can't be used with that. there are adapters out there to install a V8 with the original transmission and rear end, but I don't think anyone makes them anymore... I have seen them on ebay. transmission strength and rear end gear ratio would be a problem.
good morning . welcome to the HAMB . with that car & that girl , you will do good anywhere . your english is just fine ! ............ steve

To elaborate/clarify further. Torque tube: the drive shaft is inside a tube, connected between the rear axle and transmission. Cannot be used with a newer style transmission. Ask him if they have chevrolet "S-10" pickups there. Or, he can just try and match the width of the old axle with something they have over there.
Rustem, Welcome to the HAMB, the link below is the best way of explaining what that bolt should be replaced with. Your English is fine.
