"Your Notifications" question

I have a notification under the cl***ification "Unapproved Group Messages". The link takes me to a group I started (the one in my signature), but I find no message.

I have had no trouble reading notifications in other categories (Personal messages, friend requests, etc.) This is my first notification in this category.

What am I missing?

Okay.
I found a post on a Social Group I started, with a post that says "This is a Moderated Message". (I didn't moderate it.)

How do I make the "Your Notifications 1" disappear from my start up page???
