Thanks again for everyone's words of support. He is comfortable and well taken care of right now, and that is about as good as it looks like it will get. Your thoughts and prayers mean a lot to my family and I!

Sorry to hear this, it's tough no matter what the age, I've lost a 12-year-old nephew, 62-year-old brother. It's always hard to let go. God peace be with him when his time comes. Prayers are being sent to Family, and friends.

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. The time came around 11:30 this morning for Popi to take his final cruise "home". We are trying to find solace in the fact that he is in a better place and that he was surrounded by so much love while he was here.

Your support and love these past few days means the world to me. Thanks again to my HAMB family!

there's not anything i can say that will take away the sting that you feel right now. but as time p***es you'll get over the hurt and remember the good times. when you do just smile to yourself and thank God that you had him in your life.

i don't have any grandparents left, and that's the way it is for me.

    more prayers sent.

  13. He'll never completely leave you Star, you will soon find this out.
My condolences to you and his entire family.

So sorry to hear it. Popi had a good run, and clearly did very well by his family, which says a lot about the measure of someone.

Something I've seen recommended to those who've just had a loss like your is to put something commemorative together. It can be very healing.

Think back to the happiest or funniest time you had with Popi and keep this in your heart and mind until some healing occurs It will ease your pain.
