I wasn't insulted but, someone once said, upon seeing my car, "Hey, it's the ZZ Top car!"

By far...it has to be, "Nice Rat Rod!". To a Traditional Hotrod guy, that's a slap in the face!

2nd, would have to be, "It's just a car".

I was at the parts store trying to find some parts for my old Plymouth and came up empty handed. I was teasing the counter guy about not having any parts for a Mopar, without missing a beat Paul says "Bondo is behind you on the bottom shelf"...

A neighbor told me he overheard a couple walking past my house saying how they wished I would keep my car parked the in the garage because it made the area look trashy.

I had my survivor roadster at a car show / swap meet several years ago in my swap meet space, not as a show car, but my transportation to the meet as is was only about 15 miles from home. My car was built / painted in the late 1950's, chipped paint, old chrome, etc. Some person told me it needed a paint job. Obviously he didn't have a clue. I take pride that my car is a survivor, not a wannabe.

 

if its registered / insured park in front...dumbass people sayin dumb ass shit..that chevy is nice...
